Starting off in Durban, our tour heads up through the KwaZulu-Natal midlands, to the picturesque town of Underberg, where the real adventure begins! Our luxury Sani Pass tour snakes up the mountain and takes you through a scenic valley along a crystal clear river, making for a breath-taking experience. Your personal Tour Guide will fill you in on all you can learn about the history of the pass and the surrounding area. Feast your eyes on the natural landscape that is dotted with many species of wildflowers, creating splashes of vibrant colours. The road itself is rough which is why only 4×4 vehicles are allowed to traverse it, but because of this and the hairpin bends, you are in for a fun and heart-racing trip!

Excursion parfaite ! Britney, s'est demenee pour que je puisse realiser cette excursion : j'ai meme eu droit a un taxi particulier pour m'amener au lieu de depart de l'excursion. Le guide mais je ne sais plus son prenom etait gentil, prevenant, tres passionne et il nous a donne bcp d'informations diverses, il a ete disponible et un conducteur experimente et habile. Had a fantastic day. The Sani pass was amazing and the driver was awesome. I didn't realise we didn't get a chance to buy any souvenirs or crafts from the locals - The pub lunch was great despite the rain. The stops along the way were fabulous. - Darelle
Our trip to Lesotho via the Sani Pass was one of the highlights of our month in Sputh Africa. It was well organised and very informative. We were very lucky to have amazing weather: blue skies and sunshine, so we were able to see the dramatic cliffs of the Drakensberg and all the wildlife. Our visit to the Lesotho village was wonderful and we particularly enjoyed trying on the traditional Besotho blankets and hats. We would definately recommend this trip to anyone who want to see the Sani Pass and Drakensberg but hasn't got their own 4wd transport. - Claire

An absolutely fantastic trip from beginning to end. We chose the option with transport to and from Underberg. The driver who collected us and brought us back again was brilliant. A very competent driver, good company, full of fascinating information and knowledge about KZN and South Africa in general. Then onto the Sani Pass trip itself. What a brilliant trip. Again our guide was a brilliant driver, getting us safely up and down the pass. He stopped regularly so we could take pictures, had a fantastic eye for spotting wildlife and birds on the way and was very knowledgeable and great company. We were a group of 4, 2 from the UK, one from the US and one from Germany and we all thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. Would highly recommend.
