All guests, clients participate in the tours/activities at own risk.
CANCELLATION OF ACTIVITY
VISIT SOUTH AFRICA operates in diverse and changeable weather conditions and all tours and activities are subject to these conditions.
Management reserves the right to cancel any tour/activity due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to, unavailability, insufficient passengers and/or unfavourable weather conditions. Clients will be assisted in rescheduling affected bookings. If booking cannot be rescheduled, the nett booking price (see refunds) will be refunded within 15 working days.
In case of a weather cancellation, weather conditions are judged exclusively by the Management of VISIT SOUTH AFRICA and guests must report for the tour/activity unless notified by VISIT SOUTH AFRICA.
REFUNDS
There will be no refunds in the event of a no-show by guest on the tour/activity date.
In the event of an amendment not received 3 days prior to activity booked, the guest will still be responsible for the full cost for the total number of passengers originally confirmed.
• 30 days cancellation before arrival: 100% refund
• 15 - 29 days cancellation before arrival: 75% refund
• 8 - 14 days cancellation before arrival: 50% refund
• 0 hrs - 7 days cancellation before arrival: 0% refund
• If this tour/activity is bought as a Voucher or Gift Voucher then a 0% refund policy applies.
RE-ROUTING OF ACTIVITY/TOURS
In the unlikely event that VISIT SOUTH AFRICA does not have access to specific area of the booked service or voucher on the day of the tour/activity then VISIT SOUTH AFRICA retains the right to re-route affected tours/activities accordingly.
ARRIVAL AT VENUE
Kindly ensure you arrive at the venue 30 minutes before your tour/activity departure time. Should you arrive later, your tour/activity may be forfeited and not refunded or rescheduled. If, however you contact us before your tour commencement time, we may be able to make alternate arrangements. Timeously means well beforehand.
LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY PROPERTY OF THE CLIENT
The owners and managers of VISIT SOUTH AFRICA cannot be held liable or responsible for any loss or damage of any belongings or property of the clients.
INDEMNITY
All clients will be required to sign an indemnity before ANY tour/activity takes place. If a guest refuses to sign the indemnity form, the guest will not be able to partake in the tour/activity. The indemnity form must be signed by a Parent/Legal guardian for minors under 18 years. Any unaccompanied child 18 or under requires the indemnity to be signed by a parent/legal guardian prior to the tour/activity.
CHILD POLICY:
Children Rates apply to minors aged between 4 and 11 years IN SOME OF THE TOURS/ACTIVITIES. Children are classified as a passenger, therefore, on certain tours/activities, the full rate will apply to them. Adult supervision is required for children of 14 years old and younger. Some tours/activities do not allow children under 18 years old.
COVID-19 AND ANY OTHER PANDEMIC DISCLAIMER
VISIT SOUTH AFRICA cannot be held liable for any operational changes, cancellations or consequential damages incurred by you in the event that any activity/tour are not able to operate as planned, including any disruptions, cancellations or changes to planned schedules.
You agree that it is your personal decision to take a tour/activity and that you are doing so with full knowledge of current travel recommendations and travel restrictions with regard to the risk of COVID-19 / OTHER PANDEMIC, with you having taken full personal responsibility to inform yourself in relation thereto. VISIT SOUTH AFRICA does not assume any responsibility for and shall not be liable for any unsafe conditions or health hazards, including pandemics or other illnesses to which you may be exposed VISIT SOUTH AFRICA is not responsible for the acts or omissions of travel suppliers, including the failure by the travel suppliers to adhere to their own schedules, provide services or refunds or their failure to honour any future trip credit.
Please note that most insurance policies have a specific clause stating that they do not cover epidemics and pandemics, especially when travel warnings are in place. It would be advisable for you to take advice from an insurance broker should you have any queries regarding the appropriateness of a travel insurance policy. VISIT SOUTH AFRICA shall not be liable for your election not to purchase insurance nor shall the Agency be liable to you for any denial of any claim by a travel insurer as it relates to COVID-19 / OTHER PANDEMIC or any other claim under the relevant policy.
In case a tour/activity is rescheduled or postponed due to COVID-19 / OTHER PANDEMIC, VISIT SOUTH AFRICA will assist the client with rebooking at NO extra charge. If the client wishes to cancel his/her activity/tour – refer to our refund and cancellation policy.
All refunds are subject to the cancellation policy of the relevant third-party service provider. In the event that the third-party service provider is able to provide a refund, you will be required to complete and submit a refund consent form, provided by us. We may charge a reasonable service fee of up to 15% for any cancellations and/or refunds processed. This will exclude third-party cancellation policy costs. We will endeavour to process all refunds within 15 working days.

All tour prices are subject to change without prior notice. NOTE: minimum guests required to run certain tours/activities.
PAYGENIUS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
VISIT SOUTH AFRICA is a business in the tour/activity industry.
CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY
VISIT SOUTH AFRICA shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, ‘personal information’ shall be defined as detailed in the Protection of Personal Information Act, Act No. 4 of 2013 (as amended).
PAYMENT OPTIONS ACCEPTED
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, credit cards for online bookings. Bank transfers or cash will only be accepted for direct bookings into the bank account of VISIT SOUTH AFRICA, the details of which will be provided on request.
CREDIT CARD ACQUIRING AND SECURITY
Credit card transactions will be acquired for PAYGENIUS who are the approved payment gateway.
CUSTOMER DETAILS SEPARATE FROM CARD DETAILS
Customer detail will be stored by VISIT SOUTH AFRICA separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGenius’s security site. (Detail: www.paygenius.co.za)
MERCHANT OUTLET COUNTRY AND TRANSACTION CURRENCY
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the card holder is South Africa and the transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
RESPONSIBILITY
VISIT SOUTH AFRICA takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
COUNTRY OF DOMICILE
This website is governed by the applicable laws of South Africa and VISIT SOUTH AFRICA chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice or other documents or communications of whatever nature.
VARIATION
VISIT SOUTH AFRICA may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
