Enjoy a traditional South African lunch, stroll through the iconic Bo-Kaap quarter and sample local treats, and indulge in delicious chocolate and freshly roasted coffee. Share your interests (beyond surfing, of course!) and dietary requirements with us, and we’ll craft a memorable day trip tailored just for you.

WeatherPlease note that our decision to operate the surfing part of the day trip is based on wind, tide, and swell conditions, as well as the skill level information you’ve provided. We typically do NOT cancel due to rain—after all, you’re going to get wet anyway! Plus, surfing in the rain can be one of the most exhilarating outdoor experiences.

What to WearSwimsuit and apply sunscreen prior to the surfing experience.

Things to BringSwimsuit/boardshorts, towel, sunscreen (waterproof or zinc), comfortable walking shoes, warm sweater, water, any emergency medication (epipen etc), dry clothing for after the surfing experience We advise that you leave all your valuables at home/accommodation. You may leave your belongings locked in our vehicle during the session but please note we can NOT be held liable for any losses/damages.

Guests or SpectatorsNon-surfing companions are more than welcome! Please let us know at the time of booking so we can choose a surf spot with amenities for them to enjoy while you’re out on the waves. If any of your travel companions are under 18 or prefer not to alcohol, please let us know when booking so we can customise the experience for everyone. Please also advise of any specific dietary requirements.

Surf Experience:
Your private surf experience will be customized to match your skill level. We offer a wide selection of boards to suit surfers of all abilities. If you’re an intermediate or advanced surfer, simply let us know at the time of booking which board you prefer. To ensure your comfort year-round, we provide high-quality 4:3mm wetsuits.

City Foodie Tour:
Your surf experience will seamlessly blend with a guided city foodie tour, taking you to the heart of Cape Town for a tasting of your choice: craft gin, beer, or coffee. Next, explore the vibrant Bo-Kaap quarter and savor local flavors, followed by a visit to an artisan chocolatier for a taste of locally made truffles. Stroll through the historic Company Gardens to wrap up the day. We’ll tailor the experience to match your surfing skills, preferences, and dietary needs, ensuring a day you won’t forget.

Pick-Ups:
We offer pick-up services from various locations in Cape Town and surrounding areas (see the list of pick-up zones below). If you’re staying outside our designated pick-up area, we’ll arrange a convenient meeting point in the city. Your dedicated guide will transport you in one of our comfortable surf vans for the full day trip.

Pick-Up Zones:
We pick up from Camps Bay, the City, Sea Point, Green Point, Woodstock, and Observatory. If your accommodation is outside these areas, please inform us at the time of your inquiry, as it may still be on our route to one of the surf spots.
